Code for Sustainable Homes Examination

This examination is designed to test the delegate’s understanding of:

the Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) November 2010 Technical Guidance
the Code Addendum (2014) England
the Code Addendum (2014) Wales
the BREEAM and CSH operations manual
the process of carrying out a CSH assessment.
The delegate will be required to answer a series of multiple-choice questions.

There is only ONE correct answer for each question.

the Code Addendum (2014) Wales
the BREEAM and CSH operations manual
the Interim CSH Green Guide Ratings
…and any other course material you feel would assist.

The examination is divided into three main sections:

Sections one and two are designed to assess the delegate’s understanding of the contents of the CSH Nov 10 Technical Guide, Addendum (2014) England, Addendum (2014) Wales, BREEAM and CSH Operational guidance and the process of carrying out a CSH assessment.
All questions in sections one and two are worth one mark.

Section three is designed to assess the delegate’s ability to carry out the calculations necessary for the associated credit areas.
All questions in this section are worth two marks.

The duration of the examination is 90 minutes.

You are reminded that the successful completion of this examination enables you to undertake real assessments; therefore the exam questions are not necessarily straightforward. You are advised to read the questions very carefully.
