In this module we will be looking at a history of insurance with respect to flood resilience, and how this has been influenced public and private sector agreements in the UK.

Matt has been very heavily involved with several workstreams within Defra’s Property Flood Resilience Roundtable and leads Task Group 3 of this group. This included the development and management of an independent guidance portal for home and business owners within the UK – www.floodguidance.co.uk. He has also worked on the development of a national property flood resilience database (PFR-d), which can record flood resilience measures that have been installed on homes within the UK.
